Why Do I Have Pain In My Higher Spine?

December 25th, 2009 · 3 Comments · Pain

It’s a sharp pain around the mid-high section of my spine. Around the shoulder blades. But it’s moving further down.
It’s pain that stops me moving for a few minutes. Then i’m fine, then it comes back again. I’ve had it for a few hours, only noticed it today.
I can’t actually lie down at the moment.
Help?

I think you need to go back to the time you initially started feeling this pain & what you were doing @ the time;; you need to get it checked by a doc, only way to know why… sorry!!

You may be letting your head hang out too far or rounding your shoulders. Pull your chin in so your ears are over your shoulders. Then read and do this article on neck pain. It is for upper sciatica too. Dr. Bookspan is a sports medicine research doctor, so you local doctor may not know this yet.
