I could be totally wrong here but it sounds like referred pain. Problems with the abdomen often show themselves with shoulder tip pain (ectopic pregnancy etc) Could this possibly be stitch but the pain is being directed to your shoulder instead of in your stomach like most people feel it? Might be worth speaking to your Dr just to make sure and also because you might be an interesting case medically speakin.
