I have tried heat compresses, icy hot rubs, electric massage, and crying but still no relief from this terrible stiffness and pain. I hurt from my left shoulder up into my head just behind my right ear and it is causing me a headache too. Someone please have the magic I need to get rid of this pain!

I had the same problem, you have to go to the doctor and get muscle relaxers and celebrex for the pain. It worked for me, not right away, it took a couple of days.
Go and see a Chiropractor!
You “will not” feel good for the first three visits, I gurantee ya on that one! But, after that, you will have no more headaches or neck aches!!
My Wife used to have “tension headaches”, migrains in fact, and I keep telling her to go to the Chiropractor I use, and she refused every time! Finally, I said ok, you must not HURT BAD ENOUGH….
Well, she went and after her 4th visit, she didnt have headaches and was about ready to kiss my feet!! LOL!!! (Another “I told you so” Story, eh?
I wish you well…

I’m a massage therapist and it sounds like you may have impinged a nerve. I would get some x-rays then ask our doctor if he thinks it’s okay that you see a massage therapist. If possible take copies of the x-rays with you so you will be given a massage that better benefits you. I hope you recover quickly, from personal experience and the experience of my clients I know how terrible constant pain is!

sounds like you need a chiropractor. If you have a vertebrae misaligned, then nothing else will really help. Get a massage as well so relaxe the muscles. Tight muscles can pull the vertebrae out after you’ve been adjusted by a chiro. Try doing yoga as well. It stregthens and stretches the body so these things don’t happen as often.
Hi,
You may have pulled a muscle or you may just be a victim of sitting incorrectly and this problem has built up over time.
Many people suffer long term from sciatica or pain around the neck. Unfortunately, they do nothing about it and it gets worse resulting sometimes in very risky back surgery.
I suggest you take a look at: http://www.goodbyetobackpain.org
I had a friend who used to scream with her pain. She solved her problems by visiting the above website. She had been seeing Doctors for years and none of that helped her.
Hope this helps on the road to your recovery.

Go to a physical therapist and tell about the problem. Also, if you can stand the pain, stretch where it hurts. If you can last it then you might be able to just work out the pain and stiffness. also going for a swim might loosen the joint up.
