I’ve dislocated my shoulder twice and I think I’m going to be getting the surgery soon to re attach the tissue. I’m super worried about it and am curious from anyone who’s had the surgery done due to a dislocated shoulder what is the recovery time? what was it like? pain afterwards? I’m only 14 and I’ve dislocated my shoulder twice. The first time was because i fell and the second time was because I was playing volleyball.

i had that done but also had the collar bone shaved down, and everything else pinned back inplace, mine was open surgery not key hole.
all in all it took me 2month to recover(they said 3), pain was no more than when it comes out. but you have good pain killers (tramadol and tylex – i swear by them!) plese dont be worried it will be fine, im a hairdresser by trade and was so worried as it was my salon on the line……. as your young and fit you will be bouncing around in no time
