What Is The Most Likely Cause Of Intense Pain Inbetween Upper Shoulder Blades That Is Almost Debilatating?

July 6th, 2009 · 3 Comments · Shoulder

It started at the same time as a major case of heartburn and numbess and pain in all four limbs. That is to say that my arms and legs get so numb that they hurt.

I would treat this more seriously, as it is better to err on the side of safety.
Not knowing your age, or your history, it’s hard to tell what you’re presenting with. One thing you should try to remove from the list is a pulmonary embolism, which can present with your symptoms. Mind you, you may not have one, but it’s best to rule it out . . .
You should get to your nearest Urgent care facility as soon as you can, and explain how long you’ve been feeling these symptoms, and if they’ve been worsening and for how long. Tell about where the pain refers, what makes it worse, and what lessens it.
Best of luck to you . . .

DO NOT PLAY WITH THIS! Get to a Dr. GO To The E.R. if U have to, Sounds like the same thing that happened 2 my best friend ,,,You could have disk(s) pressing on your spinal cord! Nothing to play around with. i took my friend to the ER with the same symptoms, they did a cat scan of his neck then strapped him to a back board ,transferred him 2 a bigger Hosp. and he had neck surgery the next morning. They said if he would have been bumped wrong he would be a quad 2 day

It could be unproportionate and accelerated muscle growth. If you are working your chest and ignoring your back at the gym, the pain could match your symptoms. Numbness in the limbs sounds like you might be developing muscle mass to quickly which can restrict blood flow and pinch nerves in your limbs.
I’m just guessing your a gym rat and have been pushing really hard lately. Whatever anyone tells you that sounds believable, contact your doctor for a professional opinion.
