Unusual Shoulder Pains?

December 16th, 2009 · 3 Comments · Pain

Having pain in my shoulder for years now with no injury. Usually hurts after standing only a couple of minutes and my entire left arm fells weak. Doctor says there is nothing wrong with me but then why does it hurt? Anyone else have something similar or know anything about this? It is really getting bad and to the point I have to stop what ever I’m doing and apply ice or take painkillers. Please help.

Kinda funny. I have this problem too. but it happens if im sitting for a long period of time. my WHOLE shoulder gets a Very bad pain in it. what i do is just walk around and do some shoulder shrugs. that seems to always help. and there was only once that it didnt so i laid down and it went away. i think it is the stress being put on your shoulder… not sure though. i would say take advil or tylenol. but only if it wont stop being a pain.
Like right now… my shoulder is hurting like its being poked a thousand times with a hot knive. it doesnt feel to great. *rubbing helps*

I had this but it was temporary for a few hours. I checked it out at the hospital but they said theres nothing wrong becouse they looked at an exray of my joint at my shoulder. but i felt like a stabbing pain right in my shoulder cuz i did bench press wrong that day and forced it, and kept working out my chest without feeling any pain in my shoulder. But later that i night i couldnt sleep becouse of the pain.
So meaby theres something wrong with your muscle there.

No, I haven’t had any of that, but I would go see another doctor. I would even see two other doctors. Three opinions. There is definitely something wrong there. You should probably be taking Ibuprofin, (painkiller and anti-inflamitory). I would imagine any pain that lasts that long, isn’t normal!
