Tingling And Pain In My Left Hand And Wrist…?

December 29th, 2009 · 2 Comments · Pain

I am a 27 year old male who is for the most part healthy. Last week i started getting pain in my left hand and wrist which goes to my elbow. It feels tingly and “warm” in my hand and fingers. I did go to to the er last week for left shoulder pain. I had an ekg, blood work, and chest x ray to rule out any kind of heart problems and all were normal. Any idea what could be causing this?

Diabetic neuropathy is usually fingers/ hands and feet and chronic-uncontrolled diabetes. More likely it could be carpal tunnel syndrome if you have risk factors. Could be pinched nerve in the neck but typically this pain goes from arm down.If it is the last 2 fingers could be ulnar neuropathy(draftman’s elbow)

most tingling like that is a symptom of diabetes but since your blood work came back normal it could be a form of carpultunnel( spelling?)
