Ok, I’m 17, and I presently have a tattoo on my right ankle that I got last year. But my question is, I am planning on getting a tattoo on my back shoulder in the future (in a while), and I am wondering what the pain factor of the ankle is compared to the pain factor for a back shoulder tattoo.
thanx, help would be appreciated!

I have one on my shoulder blade and one on my ankle. I barely noticed the one on my shoulder blade and I noticed the one on my ankle, mostly cause it was making my toes twitch, neither hurt but I take pain well. Most likely your back tat will be less noticeable or painful than your ankle was because there is more muscle and fat on your back than on your ankles.
i have one on my ankle and my shoulder and i felt the ankle but not the shoulder but everyone can stand a different amout of pain and this chick right here can handle sum pain. if u want hit me up at apple_bottom_chick_6969@yahoo.com
pain is inevitable.
suffering is optional.
My mom just got one on her back shoulder and she has a low pain threshold though she says it just felt like someone pricking her over and over and it didn’t really hurt at all.
They both are pretty painful…But i would say,the back of the shoulder would be alittle more painful…Why worry your going to find out pretty soon…Pick out a tattoo that fits who you are…you will be alot happer with it if you do…GOOD LUCK…

It depends on what your threshold for pain is.
I have a leg tattoo that took 5 hours to do, with 7 needles going at once, and it didn’t hurt me.
the pain factor is getting turned down from a good job, people looking at you with disgust, and never finding a decent mate…don’t get anymore tatoos…they are disgusting and trashy.
