That doesn’t really make sense. I’ve heard of pain and stress raising blood sugar but not blood sugar causing shoulder pain. High blood sugar may cause foot pain but shoulder pain, strange.
You blood sugar if fasting, is in the diabetic range. It’d be very wise to keep monitoring it.

Fire this doctor immediately! Are you diabetic? Although this could be from nerve problems caused by increased sugar levels, You need furher work up. I don’t want to scare you, but you need some cardiac testing. Some people don’t present with the typical chest pain that other patients do. They sometimes have no pain at all. Some people have c/o that are considered atypical chest pain. They may just have upper sciatica or just arm pain. But if you are not diabetic- there is still cause to be concerned. You should still get your heart checked. As for your sugar- some medications such as steroids cause an increased blood sugar level. 153 is considered high. I hoped that this helped.
