I’ve started playing golf again, and thinking that this injury is related to when i strike the ball. But it hurts when i move abruptly or deeply breath.
any advice or help as to what this is, and how to treat it?

Could be bursitis, inflammation in your bursa. you see your shoulder is a ball and socket joint and to keep the ball from rubbing the socket, bone on bone, you have cushy layer of cartilage called your bursa. When this gets inflamed from constant wear, don’t know how often you play, it is called bursitis. Like any inflammation apply heat to relax and take an anti-inflammatory like Advil or Motrin, Ibuprofen. But seriously go to the doc if your really consconcerned
