Last night I was at a party and was sitting on the couch when this persistent guy who kept hitting on me (and I kept rejecting) sat next to me. He put his arm around my shoulders, and I was about to get up when he grabbed my waist and pulled me back on the couch. He told me he wouldn’t take no for an answer. I kept trying to get up and he kept wrapping his arms around my waist tighter. Eventually it got to the point where it felt like my floating ribs were being crushed into my body and I couldn’t breathe. My other friend grabbed my arm and tried to pull me up, but the guy still wouldn’t let go. My friend ended up pulling me and the guy off the couch and dragging us across the floor. As you can imagine, it was extremely painful having to drag the guy’s weight and mine by only my arm. Now, my shoulder all the way down to my hip is in pain. I slept on it, thinking it would go away in the morning, but it’s still painful. It hurts to take deep breaths and bend over. It’s probably just a bruise, but I wanted to consult someone. A friend of mine once thought the pain she had was nothing and she ended up having a ruptured appendix, so I just want to take precaution.
Thank you to those who took the time to read this.

You shouldn’t be such a lady and have smacked him when he put his hands on you, he was a real jerk. I do have some exercises that may help you out on at least some of the pains. After you go through them and you still have pains get in touch and I should be able to help you out. You have some muscles that have to be released to get rid of the pain. At this point I can’t guess what they all are so the reason for going about it this way. Here are some exercises that should help release some of the pains:
For your neck:
place your hand alongside your head and push your thumb in under your ear and place it on the muscle there. Take your fingers and place them on the back of your neck on the muscles there. Press them together and hold a good amount of pressure on them. Then relax, take a deep breath an happening, the muscle going limp under the pressure. Continue to hold until the entire muscle has gone limp.
Back:
Place your left hand on your left knee. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and with your fingertips find the muscle next to your spine. Press on it and hold. Relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. After about 30 seconds there should be a release happening and when it does slowly lower yourself forward onto your right leg or even over it if you can, the more over the better it is. Continue holding for a total of one minute. Then release but rest your body there for one minute longer. Then reverse and do the right side.
Movement into your neck:
(do while sitting and only look straight forward)
Place your right hand on your left shoulder taking putting the muscle there in between your fingers and thumb. Squeeze the muscle and hold that pressure. Now relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. After 30 seconds, slowly lean your head to your other shoulder as far as it will go. Release the pressure but hold your head there for one minute longer.
Please don’t tell me this persistent guy is the same guy from homecoming.
I’m no doctor, so I think..
I’d get it checked out.

Your best bet would be to see a dr or wait a few days and see if the pain lessens.
