Under certain circumstances and for vulnerable individuals, frequent computer use that involves awkward postures, repetition and forceful exertions may be related to nerve, muscle, tendon and ligament damage. If you use a computer extensively (several hours each day), many experts recommend that you consider proper workstation layout and posture techniques to minimize your risk of developing injuries of the hand/arm, shoulder, neck and back. Overuse injuries develop over time, and may set in more quickly if you spend long hours sitting at a computer at home, as well as at work.
Sit up tall and strait facing your computer with your knees infront of you, feet on the floor.
 sit at a properly set-up workstation.
 Use correct posture including keyboard and pointing device techniques.
And most importantly, take frequent rest breaks.
Make sure you&#039;re comfortable, and doing these things and you should be fine! =D</description>

Secondly, don&#039;t use the computer for long periods of time without taking breaks. Go to the bathroom, get a soda, anything...just move around at least for 5-10 minutes for every hour you are on the computer.
Third, make sure that while you are on the computer you have your mouse at a comfortable stretch for you. If it&#039;s too close, you&#039;ll cramp, if it&#039;s too far, you&#039;ll cramp...so either way you lose unless you have it just right for yourself.</description>
