My Left Shoulder Hurts And I Cant Raise My Hand. It’s About 4 Weeks Since I’ve Got This Pain. What Do I Do?

December 22nd, 2009 · 7 Comments · Pain

No medicine have answered so far and I find it difficult to even turn my neck. It does not seem serious to me as I still go about with my usual work. What can it be and what do I do to ease the pain?

You should go to a professional Doc.

It is time to go to a doctor. One thing that it sounds like is bursitis – but if it has been four weeks with no relief – you better get it checked out.
    Good Luck!

Try creams from the chemist like tiger balm, or you could drink cider vinegar and honey mixed with warm water everyday to stop muscle pain. You could also try a massage therapist or massage cushions. Maybe even magnetic therapy or a magnetic cushion underlay. Visit your pharmacist to see if they have anything else that can help.

could be a bad rotator cuff you should go to the doctor…you may need surgery or the doc can prescribe pain meds for the time being

Sounds like rotator difficulties. But avoid opioid based pain medication until it is the last result…. I don’t really have much experience in the genre of shoulder pain, so I can’t help you much. Obviously the usual regimen of “seeing a doctor” when necessary still applies regardless of what other advice you recieve. -beaver (Rock Island, Illinois)

have you tried drinking some prescribed pain-killing tablets? or try applying pain-killing ointment. either works just fine. if the pain persists, don’t hesitate to consult your physician. =)
