We were at Sea World tow days ago and we went ont his ride on which we got all wet and he ended up walking the whole day with a wet shirt and it was somewhat windy. Yesterday only his back hurt but today not only his back hurts horribly but his left arm also and he doesn’t see the “need” to go to teh doctor so is there anything at home that we may do that would help?

he may have a pinched nerve in his neck. only a doc, chiropractor or physical therapist should address this.
It sounds like he may have pulled a muscle. Try putting heat on it if you haven’t already.
He needs to go to the doctor. This kind of pain isn’t normal, and could even be a sign of a heart attack. Tell him you want to spend Father’s Day with him this year and for many more years to come, and then put him in the car and drive to the clinic. If he argues with you about it, ignore him and take him to the clinic anyway. Men hate to the go the doctor. It’s a birth defect. But they still have to go when they’re not feeling well.
ibuprofen for now. go to doc and get checked out. get better pill. less pain. hmm. less pain. sounds better to me. he got a nerve in his neck. happened to me but only neck and arm hurt. look dad, go to doc. we will take you out for milk shakes after if u behave.
Four ibuprofen tablets, twice daily. Don’t baby the arm. Get plenty of rest. Drink a lot of water. Make your dad promise to see a doctor if this regimen doesn’t help him in five days.
Chest pain can radiate to the back and down the left arm. A wet shirt would not cause this pain, however, if he had a respiratory problem it may have made it worse. This type of pain, any pain, is caused by a problem. He may not want to go to the doctor, but it could ward off problems that could debilitate him.
Excruciating sciatica would not be caused by walking in a wet shirt. He could be having symptoms of a heart attack, he needs to go to the doctors.
Pain in the left side of the body or back, especially in a man can indicate heart problems.
Please get your dad some help, you do not want to take the chance of him having a heart attack.
It sounds like your dad is having some muscle spasms from the wetness & wind. He should see a good chiropractor. What you can do at home is apply some moist heat for 10-15 minutes at a time, about every hour or two. When you feel his back and shoulder areas, if you can feel tight muscles, you need to push gently, but firmly on them to “break” them up. You can do this in a circular motion on each area where you feel a muscle spasm. It will be tender when you do it, but it will help.
Maybe he had a stroke. Or it could be something that happens before a stroke. He should go to the doctor.
