I know lower sciatica is common, but what about the upper back, between the shoulder blades? I’ve tried…. the Chiropractor, heating pads, tiger balm, ben gan, massage, warm baths, heat packs that stick on, ice. This had been going on for about 3 weeks now, rather intolerable. I’d told my doc about it, and he dismissed it and said since I was tall, it was putting pressure on my upper back. ( I’ve gained 30 lbs)

You could have a case of bronchitis, that can make you hurt between the shoulder blades. You might want to go to another doctor, get a second opinion. Also if you asked your Ob/Gyn about it, then he is probably not thinking about lung problems since his/her field of expertise is a little south of that. Go to your family doctor, it could be something worth looking at.
Good luck & Congrats!
i had the same problem from 31 to 33 weeks it went away by itself and now at 35 weeks tomorrow i have started to get it again but my pain is just below the right shoulder blade but it is normal its because of your belly and the amount of weight is is putting on both upper and lower back
It sounds like you’ve tried everything you could of thought of to try to ease the pain in your upper back. Is there anything working for you? http://www.thechirostudio.com/FAQS.html
