it doesnt happen all the time .but when it does it feel like it is a stiff feeling.the part that hurts and goes stiff is a little bit farther back from the ear ,straight down the neck and into the sgoulder?please help .serious answers only please.

It could be tendinitis. Follow up with your DR.. I have tendinitis
on both my shoulders. And it’s painful and stiffens up. I’ve
gone to therapy and they had me do excercise and put ice pack
or heating pad.
