pleurisy is the inflammation of the soft tissues that covers the chest and the lungs.i this case u should fell pain in your chest.the pain you fell is acute and gets worst with breathing, it can irradiate in one part on the chest or shoulder,it can stop when u breath put or when the chest is compressed and it can aggravate when sneezing. after the pleurisy is aggravate u can have fever and head Ike, and after a while it can stop but u should see a doctor cause in most cases in the pleural cavity u can have a accumulation of liquid and that’s why the pain stops cause it blocks the friction between the pleural tissue

You have some kind of inflammation problem — do you carry heavy shoulder bags on that arm? I had that once from this. Try some anti-inflammatories and do seek medical attention, because if you do have pleurisy, you will need antibiotics.

Yes, These people are more or less correct. They overlooked the fact that you could have a cracked or broken rib(s)
That would be the first thing anyone in the medical feild come to the conclusion of when you said “only hurts when i breathe in” indication of diaphragm tight or crooked. Cause of tight or crooked diaphagm? Broken ribs.

sounds like pleurisy. my husband had it. you need antibiotics. go to the ER tomorrow.

since you are a doctor and have ruled out a cardiac cause, it should be easy to diagnose. if you are not a doctor, see one.
