I Have A Pain Hear And There On The Left Side Of My Back Under My Shoulder Blade?

I get a pain here and there on the left side of my back in the area under my shoulder blade.
when i lay on my stomac when i sleep it feels better. and i get the pain when i sleep on my back or when i sit in a chair side ways or even sometime when i sit straight in a chair i get the pain.
the pain is like a ache , it happens then it dont hurt then a sec. later i will feell the pain.
what could this be? and how to treat it

    Sometimes a pulled or strained muscle can cause this. You can try applying a heating pad to the area to see if that helps but I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on.
