I was walking up the steps of my dorm and I tripped over my jeans. This was about ten minutes ago. When I tripped I tried to catch myself and I failed to do so. I felt my shoulder pop and I heard it crack, sort of like the sound of your knuckles or back cracking. I wouldn’t be too worried about because of the sound, but now it really hurts. It hurts to just lay down and ice it. It doesn’t hurt when I raise it but right after I put my arm back down at my side, my shoulder burns and tingles and starts to hurt really bad. The pain is at the top of my shoulder sort of near my neck and it is also in my back at my shoulder blade. The bicep part of my arm also hurts, too. Is this just pain from what happened or is this something serious and something that I need to seek medical help for?

The biceps has two tendons on its upper end, both attach to the scapula but in different places. One of those tendons goes through the top of the humerus. The biceps help hold the shoulder joint together, especially when your arms are above your head. If you did damage the shoulder joint, the biceps will complain about it.
The next thing that you should do is go get an x-ray. That joint is probably the most complex of the human body, and a lot can get broke.
