Does The Front Of Your Shoulder Ache When You Run More Than A Half Mile?

December 1st, 2009 · 1 Comment · Pain

When I run more than a half mile–and sometimes less–I get an ache in the front of my left shoulder that radiates up to my neck. The pain is definitely strongest in the shoulder, but the neck and even the upper arm feel the pain too. The pain is never on the right side.
I’m not too concerned because I’ve had this same thing happen often for the last twenty years whenever I went running any sort of distance. I’m in my upper thirties now.
Still, is this normal?

this happens to many people, except in different places. Some people the shoulder, neck, etc., and as for me, i get it in my right side, all the time, which radiates up to my shoulder. It’s perfectly normal, human being reactions.
