Just wondered. Woke up yesterday with a pain in the back of my neck and across my shoulders. Have the same today and my head feels too heavy for my neck! But feel really sick with it… is this normal or are the 2 totally unrelated!??

yes
if stress builds up it atacks the shoulders and neck
and then you get constricted blood flow dehydration and nausea
my suggestion aromatherpy at a spa with yoga
Yes it can do if the pain is that severe….Best go and get it checked out to be on the safe side x
Please phone the nhs helpline or go to a drop in centre there are quite a few in most towns and cities. Or even better go and see your doctor.
Go and see a doctor!
If it only happened once i would say you slept a weird way that made your neck hurt in the morning, but it happened twice sooo…
maybe you need a new pillow if your pillows flat your neck will hurt in the morning but if you think your pillow is fine you need to go to the doctor to get your neck and back cheaked out to make sure everything is ok!!
hope you get better
Sounds like stress, were you out in the sun yesterday ?
Perhaps a mixture of things.. see your doctor for advice !
call your doctor. this sounds weird to me; maybe a pinched nerve, but maybe something else.
you *may* have meningitis. difficulty moving your head? are bright lights a problem? if either of those are an issue, or if it’s getting worse and/or you have a fever you may want someone to drive you to the ER.
