I’m still going to get it reguardless of the answers, id just like to know if it was tolerable, hurt like hell, didnt and so forth. I’d just like to know what to expect somewhat nevermind we all have different pain tolerance. Thanks!

I have flowers going across my sholder blades. The pain there was worse then the pain on my lower back. Tattoos aren’t suppose to feel good! You have lots of nerves in your upper back and for me, the right side hurt more than the left! But i have a beautiful tattoo that I love and will forever remind me of my loving grandmother!

My tatt “bit” a little as he was nearing the top of the tatt and also a little by my armpit, otherwise it was OK.
I have two on my right shoulder & out of five tattoos that one hurt the most. The next one that was more painful than the others is one on my ankle. The other two, one on my thigh & one above my breast did not hurt much at all.
Any tattoo over a bone with little meat is the ones that hurts the most.
Mine didn’t hurt that bad, compaired to the one i got in the inside of my wrist(it hurt the worst on the veins) but for me, tattoos are uncomfortable to get, but the pain really isn’t a factor.
Okay, I’ve said this twenty times too many. It does not matter where you get a tattoo. Everyone’s nerves are dispersed throughout their body differently. My shoulder tattoo pain was about a 3 on a 1-10…however the last one I got on my ankle was about a 10! It hurt so bad. My friend got one there and it wasn’t bad at all…it’s a gamble. Regardless, no tattoo hurts so bad that it’s unbearable! Good luck.
It’s tolerable. I went in to get it, thinking I’d be one of those people who cry during it, but when the artist started, it wasn’t as bad as I had anticipated. So, my advice for you is don’t get yourself worked up & you will be fine.
I have four; one on my ankle, hip, lower back and between my shoulder blades and the one between my shoulder blades was the most painful for me. Burned like hell.
It wasn’t that bad until he started on the shading then it started to feel like getting a scratch on a sun burn but everyones pain tolerance is different.

The one on my shoulder hurt the least. I have 3. One on my ankle which was the most painful and on on my lower back. But, the shoulder hurt the least… I want to get another one on my other shoulder. The most annoying thing about the shoulder was, when it was healing my bra strap would rub against it and that was an annoying.
its really not bad at all i have one that took about 2 hours and i almost fell asleep while it was getting done
i have tattoos on both shoulder blades and yes it hurts. on a 1-10 scale, it was about an 5 for me
