After Doing Much Exercise, You Felt Pain On Your Shoulder And You Could Not Raise Your Arm?

November 15th, 2009 · 1 Comment · Pain

Sounds like a rotator cuff issue. If it was pulled, you’d only feel a little pain doing shoulder exercise or bench presses. If you are at the stage where you can’t even raise your arm, I would recommend that you see a doctor to find out if the rotator is torn.
Don’t wait on this….do it asap.

Pain in your shoulder is pretty vague, and so is much exercise.
    If it is
    a) a sharp pain that occurs mostly when you attempt to move your arm
    b) a tight pain that goes all the way down in to your chest
    It could be
    a) something like bone, ligament, or tendon damage
    b) a heart attack
In either case you should need to seek some pretty immediate attention
    If it were
a dull pain, and your arm just felt limp
    It could be
that you just really exhausted those muscles.
In which case good job, and you will probably be sore tomorrow, but don’t waste any money running to a dr.
Take care, and don’t be to quick to run to a dr. My guess is that if it didn’t hurt bad enough to go to the emergency room before asking on here, then you will probably be fine.
    Rock on!
